RiSe (Kwon Ri Se) August 16 1991 – September 7 2014

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to RiSe from Ladies' Code. As the world mourns her demise,we wanted to remember her as a girl with full of dream. I would like to share to you some videos of her beautiful performances she did on MBC Star, before she was signed to a girl group.

Before officially joining Ladies Code, Rise gained attention pre-debut by appearing in several Korean programs. Below is a lovely clip of her from 2010′s MBC Star Audition.

RiSe’s talent helped her become a finalist on the singing show, which would then help her sign a deal with Key East Entertainment. After a stint in We Got Married and filming a CF for LG Optimus 3D, she signed a deal with Polaris Entertainment to become a member of Ladies’ Code.

Rise's Funeral

RiSe was labeled as being in critical condition when she sank into a coma for several days, and performing surgery on her became difficult when her blood pressure dropped to dangerous levels. On September 7th, Polaris Entertainment released an official announcement stating, "Ladies' Code's RiSe has passed away to the heavens at 10:10 AM on the 7th, at 23 years of age."
